The first week back we were treated to a Rhythmical Show where the children followed a variety of rhythms lead by Johnny and Lucy. Each child had their own drum. It was fantastic to see how Johnny and Lucy were able to capture the children's musical abilities. It was a wonderful fifty minutes to be part of.
We have been learning about France and learning to speak some French because the French rugby team are coming to Napier to play rugby during for the world cup.
One Friday we dressed up as French children and teachers which was in the colours of red, white and blue like their colours on the French flag.
We ate le fromage (cheese) and le pain (baquette) It was good fun.
In this photo Mrs Martin is about to open the container of French snails for the children to taste! In the other container there are French frog legs!
I have had difficulty loading the photos of the children dressed up as 'French Enfants.' ( Ignore the writing below-I don't seem to be able to delete that also. Hopefully I will be able to rectify the problem.) Watch the space!
