Teacher Aide
Hi - my name is Linda Cunningham. I have been a Teacher Aide at GMS for about eight years and have loved every minute of it. Being a T/A I get to go in a lot of classes and see all the different kinds of teaching. I help with Maths, Writing and Reading. The last few years I have set up and run a programme called 'Talk To Learn'. This is targeted at children in the Junior Syndicate who have some difficulty in Oral language and Motor skills. I try and make it fun for the children. We colour in, do lots of cutting out, play fun learning games and most importantly, lots of talking. I am a mother of two boys that have gone through GMS. Both boys are at Taradale High now and it was their start at GMS that have put them in good stead for the future. Primary school is the most important step in your child's learning - their brains are like little sponges, they absorb in so much, the more you teach them, both at home and at school the better off they will be for the future. In my spare time I like to get into the garden (which is not often), read, do some baking, get out for a walk, be a taxi for my boys and meeting up with family and friends when I can.
Teacher Aide/ Librarian
Hi, Im Karen and I have been a Teacher Aide at Greenmeadows School for about 10 years. Yes!, that is a long time. I have worked with children of all levels from the Juniors to Seniors. I am currently working in the Junior Syndicate which I love. The children are keen to learn. I also maintain the school resources. In the afternoon you can find me in the library which I also love.
Teacher Aide
I have been a teacher aide at Greenmeadows Primary since 2001. My connections with the school began in 1994 when the eldest of my three children was enrolled as a 5 year old. Supporting the children and teaching staff is very rewarding. It is wonderful working alongside the children and watching them grow and develop during these important years.
Teacher Aide
I have been employed at Greenmeadows School as a Teacher Aide since 2007 and am currently working in the Senior Syndicate, which I thoroughly enjoy. Previously to this I have been with the Middle syndicate and involved with the PMP programme. I have been involved with the school since 2002 when my first child started at the school. My involvement in the school also includes road patrol and coaching a netball team.
